Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are seeking a warm, responsible live-out nanny to provide full-time care starting April 2014 for our two children, ages 12 months and 3.5 years, in our home in the Roncesvalles neighbourhood in Toronto. Responsibilities include: - maintaining children\'s consistent daily routines (meals, rest times, outings) - providing a caring, attentive, & secure environment for children - dropoff & pickup of 3-year-old at preschool two mornings/week (approx. 10 minute walk) - playing with & reading to children - neighbourhood outings (parks, library, drop-in programs, etc.) - preparation & cleanup of lunches - light \"maintenance\" cleaning (e.g., sweeping, tidying play areas, emptying dishwasher, folding laundry) - occasional help with dinner meal preparation and small errands (e.g., picking up a few grocery items, returning library books) Start date: April 1, 2014 Approximate work hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Wages are negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Requirements: - at least two years\' experience caring for young children - up-to-date CPR & First Aid training - able to provide a Criminal Reference Check - minimum 2 references We would love to find a nanny who shares our Christian faith, but this is not an absolute requirement.
