Nanny Job Description: Full-Time, Live-Out Nanny for Twins Position Description: Working couple seeks a full-time live out nanny to provide child care for one year old twin girls. Nanny will be responsible for all daily aspects child care and creating a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children. Major Responsibilities Most important responsibility is to keep the children safe, healthy, and happy. Plan the daily schedule and follow routines. Supervise the children’s activities at all times. Prepare a variety of healthy meals and snacks for the children. Organize and lead age appropriate developmental activities and play. Plan regular stimulating outings such as walks, play centres, play dates, etc. Ensure children have regular naps. Change diapers and help potty train when age appropriate. Make sure proper children\'s hygiene is practiced. Dress children appropriately for activities and weather. Accompany parent to children\'s medical appointments. Discipline the children, when necessary, obeying parenting rules and principles Communicate with parents about daily activities and children\'s progress. Perform housework related to child care, including washing and putting away children\'s laundry, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas. Perform additional light housekeeping including: 1) Light family dinner prep work - such as putting baked potatoes in oven or rice on the stove 2) Daily emptying and loading of dishwasher. Job Qualifications and Requirements High school graduate Training in early childhood education preferred 3 years experience in childcare Experience with multiples First aid training Child and infant CPR training Authorization to work in Canada English proficiency Reliable, honest, and trustworthy Physical ability to care for two young children Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision Start date: February 16, 2015
