Nanny Job in Richmond, British Columbia

Hi Nannies! We are looking for a new a full-time nanny because our beloved nanny is returning to the UK. The right candidate is loving, responsible, capable, very competent, has experience with kids and a positive and happy attitude! We have one daughter who is very bright and funny and who needs a great nanny to spend some of her day with. She likes reading and art, dancing and singing, and has a couple of weekly activities as well as school and homework. We are a creative and respectful family with busy parents who are self-employed. We prefer someone to live with us (at least Mon-Fri) and to become a trusted friend because our work schedules are variable. Flexibility and understanding is key, because sometimes the hours can be long, but the nanny is paid accordingly. This is not a job about being a housekeeper or taking care of the parents - it is about great childcare. There is some light housekeeping, but only in terms of the child, e.g., her laundry, preparing her lunches and meals, keeping her room clean and tidy. We have one family pet, a cuddly cat. No driving is required- school is within walking distance. We live in beautiful Steveston. It is a quiet but charming town. We look forward to hearing from interested applicants.
