Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Full-time, live-out caregiver required for 4 children. We have 1 year old twin girls and 9 and 6 year old boys. The position involves working with a stay at home mom. The duties include looking after the twins both independently and with the mom (e.g., around the house or to baby classes.) The position also involves picking up the boys from school in our car once a day. We live near public transit at St. Clair and Mt Pleasant. Your responsibilities with the children include: taking care of the twins, putting them down for two naps a day, meal preparation, playdates, baby classes with the mom, providing stimulating play and activities in the home for the twins, driving the boys to and from school and sports on some days. Other duties include keeping the play areas tidy, kitchen and children area tidy up, meal preparation for the children and household laundry including some ironing of children\'s clothing. Our caregiver is required to have a drivers license and must be willing to travel 2-3 times a year for up to 3 weeks at a time. We travel to beautiful places and expenses are paid and time compensated when travelling. Excellent references, twin experience, and at least 2 years full time experience being a nanny with young children preferred. An ECE degree would be an asset. Candidate must be interested in being a nanny for 3-5 years. We are looking for someone who is energetic, fun loving, playful, patient, very caring, responsible, reliable and who REALLY loves children and is very attentive to their needs. Hours are 7:30-5 or 5:30 Monday-Friday.The wage is competitive and negotiable.
