Hello prospective host family, I live in Richmond Hill L4C1R6 I am currently seeking a FULL TIME LIVE OUT nanny position, I am available Monday to Friday for 8 hours a day, I can starting ASAP Charge rate depending on duties and the number of children you have. I HAVE .... - Bachelor degree of Social Sciences and Liberal Art, English and Chinese for communications. - Current CPR/First Aid - Personal Support Worker Certificate - G full Driver license ( no own car) - Police check up on request - Fully vaccinated - Smart Serve Certificate - Reference up on request - I DON’T need sponsor - I am permanent resident My experiences 2019 to 2020 Took care of 2 boys 9 and 11 years old. East York 2020 PSW at Longterm care facility at Main Street terrace, Danforth. 2020 to 2023 Live in Nanny took care of 7 months old girl. ( 3 years) in Markham. 2022. Nanny shared (live out) took care another 7 months old girl in Markham. I have been employed with a host family in the Markham area, living in their residence and caring for their daughter since she was 7 months old; she is now 4 years old. Total of 3 years of service with this family. While I worked with them I had experienced as a nanny shared for 7 months old girl for a few months in Markham. My responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including homemade cooking and baking various items like cakes, muffins, pancakes, pizza, lasagna, shepherd's pie, pumpkin and apple pies, ensuring all meals are healthy and suitable for both the adults and the child. Additionally, I handle comprehensive housekeeping duties, such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, organizing, tidying the play area, laundry, folding clothes, and cleaning bathrooms. As a babysitter, I change diapers, change her clothes, engage in playtime, prepare and feed the child, put her down for naps, take her for walk, teach hygiene practices, potty trained, occasionally drive her, and drop her off at daycare, among other childcare responsibilities. While I was a PSW student in 2020, I gained valuable experience working with a Canadian family in Toronto as an after-school nanny. My primary responsibilities included: 1. Ensuring the safety of two boys aged 9 and 12. 2. Picking them up from school at 3 pm. 3. Accompanying them to after-school activities such as music and karate classes. 4. Preparing meals and cooking dinner (using Chef Plate) for the family 2-3 times a week. 5. Handling kids' laundry and folding clothes. 6. Ironing shirts as needed. 7. Taking care of household tasks like emptying the garbage, sweeping floors, and vacuuming couches. 8. Feeding the cats. 9. Following a daily to-do list left by the host family. 10. Taking the kids to the library. 11. Unloading the dishwasher. These responsibilities allowed me to contribute effectively to the family's daily routines and ensure a safe and supportive environment for the children.
