Nanny Job in Apsley, Ontario

I am a shift working NURSE single mom looking for a live in or live out nanny starting this summer. Our previous nanny is leaving the area. My children are 6 (Arianna) and 4 (Miguel). Arianna goes to school each day until the end of June, and Miguel will start in Sept 2017. As a shift worker, I work a variety of days, evenings and nights. Ranging from 8-12hrs a shift. This includes at least 2 weekends a month, either Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun. This is NON NEGOTIABLE. I am easy going. I am just looking for someone reliable and trustworthy (huge issue for me, as I am a straightforward person and like you to be too). I will give preference to someone who can stay with us over the long term. Responsibilities are #1 good care of my babies. Other responsibilities are reasonable: direct the kids to clean up, dishes, tidy, meal prep for kids, shovel snow in the winter, the occasional grocery run or run to town for whatever. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy my kids. We are huge outdoors people. In the summer we arent inside very much. Chores such as laundry are expected within reason. You must be comfortable with pets, the water, and spending time outside. Wood heat in the winter, I can teach you to stoke the stove. We live in Apsley, approx 40 mins north of Peterborough Your space is large and warm. Shared kitchen. Personal bathroom, shared shower. Position is biweekly salary pay, with paid vacation.
