Nanny Job in Airdrie, Alberta

We are looking for a full-time or part-time (2 weeks per month) nanny in Airdrie, AB. The position would be live-out but will require occasional overnights, and possibly two weekends. You generally would never actually work full time, however we need the availability "just in case" and a fair amount of flexibility - cause that's our aviation life. We are both in the aviation industry with one parent travelling sometimes a lot, sometimes a little... and the other being a shift worker! So some weeks would be busier for you, while others would be much lighter. We do need you to be comfortable and capable in our house with our girls through the night. We have two girls aged 5 and 8 years. You would be expected to play and care for them throughout the day, prepare meals, do house-keeping and maintain the household in our absence, and sometimes perform bedtime routines and put them to bed. First Aid, CPR and excellent references are important. A driver's license and vehicle is a significant asset. Both girls go to school, which is within easy walking distance, however they are also involved in a few extracurricular activities which would require occasional driving around. We are an easy going family, looking for a good role model for our girls who is willing to be a creative, fun, and a positive influence while setting boundaries and sticking to them!
