Nanny Job in London, Ontario

Seeking a Nanny for a full-time, live-out position beginning September 2016. This is likely to be a long term position. The ideal candidate would be able to commit two years and has an ECE (Early Childhood Educator) background or similar (eg.Teacher, child/youth worker etc.). Previous work experience in caring for infants and toddlers and the ability tocater to the needs of a school age child is essential. Position start date is September 2016. Potential part time care for the summer 2016 could be an option. Our children will be 5, 2.5 and 11 months. Child care responsibilities will be primarily for our 2.5 year old and 11 month old as the 5 year old will be in school. Before/after school care is required for the five year old, as well as when schools are not open, during PD days and school breaks. Job duties will primarily involve child care, and include meal preparation, children's laundry, and general clean-up. The hours will typically be 8:00am to 5:00pm, although some flexibility is required. Several years of experience with toddlers and infants is required, as well as first-aid and child CPR, or willingness to obtain. The nanny must be punctual and a non-smoker. English proficiency and the ability to work in Canada is also required. Current police check with Vulnerable Persons screening is required.
