Nanny Job in Waterloo, Ontario

We are looking for a nurturing part time Nanny to welcome into our home and family to help care for our two young girls. Ella who is 5 years old and Harper who is 3. This role will be responsible for all tasks related to care of the children throughout the week. The role will serve as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to children and the family. Major Responsibilities Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children Supervise the children’s activities at all times Place the children down for naps Teach the children good social manners Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the children Discipline the children, when necessary Drive the children to and from activities Job Qualifications and Requirements High school graduate Training in early childhood education preferred Experience caring for children First aid training and child and infant CPR Car, driver’s license, auto insurance, and safe driving history Authorization to work in Canada Clean background check English proficiency Reliable, honest, and trustworthy Physical ability to care for a young child Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision We are excited to have you become part of the family!
