Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hello Families! I'm Brazilian, 27 years old, very high energy, and currently an Au Pair in United States. I have a bachelors in Psychology and I have been taking care of children for over eight years now. I used to volunteer in a Child Care School and primarily watch newborns and infants (0-4 years old) for two years. I have also babysat my aunt's children many times, from when they were a 2 months, 4 yo and 6 yo till they were 4 yo, 8 and 10 years old. My current experience as an Au Pair has almost two years with the same family. The kids I nanny for were in 2015 a 4-months-old girl, and a 4-year old boy when I started (they're now 2 and almost 6). My responsibilities included: getting the kids ready for school, packing lunches, pick-ups/drop-offs, bathing, cooking meals, planning fun activities (museum trips, parks, pools), driving the kids to activities, putting the kids to bed/ naptime, and overall care. I had a great relationship with them (still do!) but after September 1st my program will end and I am looking for new opportunities to learn, different cultures, and to take care of kids. I'm CPR certified and First Aid trained. I also speak fluent English, Portuguese and advanced Spanish. I've been playing the piano for 15 years, and the guitar for 3 years - and I love to teach! About me, I am member of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints since I was born, so I don't drink, no smoke or other kinds of things you could be worry to expose your children. I am comfortable to live with people with different faith than I and learn more about other cultures too. I love movies, music, opera, musicals, touristics sites, roadtrips, reading books and journal. My availability started after September 1st. I can provide full-time care, M-F, anytime between 6:30am-5:30pm. I am also flexible to occasional late nights and weekends as well. I am looking for a family that wants to participate of the Caregiver Program and do a long-term contract of two years. I have references and you can reach them and know more about me and my work.
