Nanny Job in North Vancouver, British Columbia

We are looking for an energetic, engaging and caring nanny for our two children, Olivia and Jackson. Olivia will be 3 years old on April 29th and Jackson will turn 1 on March 22nd. They are amazing, happy kids and love new people, and new experiences. We also have a gentle and low maintenance 10 year old Springer Spaniel. My husband and I both work fairly demanding jobs and we have realized that we can't make daycare work for us anymore. We need a partner to help us care for our children Monday through Friday (5 days a week). Ideally our new nanny will be available to arrive at 7:45/8 am and stay until 5:30 pm. We would like someone who has a bit of flexibility to work overtime (either to arrive earlier or stay later) if we need the extra help now and again. This is a live out situation, and our nanny must have a car and be able to drive our kids to activities and classes. We'd like our nanny to be able to do the following tasks: - Give the kids lots of love, cuddles and attention! - Get the kids dressed in the morning - Prepare and feed 3 meals a day for the kids, as well as snacks when needed. - Follow some structure in the week that will include activities like "Strong Start" and "Rec Centre" drop-ins, as well as classes like "Music Together", gym and pre-school - When there is down-time, tidy up around the house, doing some light cleaning as needed - Do laundry for the kids, and possibly some of our laundry if needed - Let Lucy out for one walk a day with the kids (it doesn't need to be a long walk - she's very low maintenance these days) We are flexible parents, open to new ideas on how to raise these 2 great kids. We really believe that kids should get a lot of exercise and physical playtime (be it inside when the weather is too cold or rainy, or outside when the weather is a bit nicer). We also believe in lots of interaction with other kids, as well as new experiences, and this is why we want the kids to participate in various play-groups and classes throughout the week. We are looking forward to finding someone who will fall in love with our kids, and who we can have a great working relationship with.
