Nanny Job in Burlington, Ontario

We are looking for a part-time (20 hours), live-in or live out nanny/au pair to assist with Housekeeping and care for three of our children in our Burlington home afterschool - our boy (10 years) and two of our three girls (8 years & 5 years old). Hours would be from 1:30 - 6:30 pm, Mon-Thursday (Negotiable) The ideal candidate will be reliable, attentive, energetic, fun, nurturing and experienced caregiver with the physical ability to meet the demands of caring for young children in addition to possessing the ability to multitask and execute a plan with minimal supervision. Job Responsibilities: • Pick up our children from school, supervising at all times, creating and maintaining a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment • Meal preparation, serving & clean-up • Helping to maintain consistency with routines, manners and discipline according to the methods requested by the parents • Engaging in active play, crafts, reading, homework, etc. • Playing with the children both indoors and outdoors • Minimal light housekeeping including tidying play areas, children’s rooms, fold & put away children’s laundry, kitchen after meals, etc. Job Qualifications and Requirements: • Completion of High School • 2 year minimum experience caring for children • First aid certificate and child/infant CPR certificate • Authorization to work in Canada • Pet friendly, Non smoker • Speak, read and write english
