Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my profile, feel free to message me with any questions or concerns :) I am 26 years old cat mom, currently seeking employment that is more rewarding than the housekeeping, serving, sales and food service that I've been drawn to over the past 10 years. I have been babysitting and supervising children for as long as I can remember. My younger sister, born when I was 8, was always my biggest inspiration to continue working with children, in different ways, through the years. I was in Girl Guiding for 14 years, taking me through Sparks, Brownies, Guides, Pathfinders and eventually doing a couple years with my mom as a Junior Leader (my name was Raindrop as an extra tidbit). I volunteered at Juan de Fuca for their Social Club Dances in the past and spent 3 years in high school volunteering as a Big Sister for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program at Ruth King Elementary in Langford. As I've been working consistently as a Housekeeper/Custodian for the past 3 years, I have only been occasionally babysitting for friends and family, rarely for compensation but more because I really do enjoy spending time with the little people of this world. My First Aid Level 1 did expire May of this year but I am certainly, willing, able & capable of taking the course again, as well as any other courses, classes or certificate programs deemed necessary or compatible for jobs involving children. So though I have no official past jobs as reference, I do have an address book full of family and friends to back me with how patient, caring and understanding I am towards young people.
