Hi! My name is Marissa. I am 22 years old and a fairly active person . I hold many certificates including first aid and CPR C as well as the ability to teach first aid through the Lifesaving Society. I have been a nursing aid for two years now, meaning that I can offer the same type of care for elderly people, children and peoples' living with physical or mental disabilities. I am also a lifeguard and swim instructor. If swimming is an extra curricular activity you might be interested in for yourself or your loved one, I can certainly help with that. In addition to all these things, I currently work with my partner to operate a security company which deals with at risk youth whom have mental health limitations that cause them to be physically combative. There I help to build programs and activities to offer a safe and stress free environment for these young peoples. I did some previous schooling at Grant Macewan for early learning as well as elementary education. I worked as a nanny for one year prior to obtaining my nursing aide certificate and thoroughly enjoyed the work.
