My name is Jenelle Vande Burgt and I a confident, well read, and experienced nanny. I am fluent in American Sign Language as well as my native English. I currently nanny 16mth old twins full time on weekdays. I have worked with the twins for the past 9 months and I worked with my previous family for about 2 years. I love working with kids and am a firm believer of interactive learning and development. I am a great animal lover and have a dog myself who is on his way to becoming a therapy dog. I am very experienced with dogs and horses, as well as smaller pets such as cats and rodents. Part of my experience with kids comes from coaching horseback riding. I am passionate about the outdoors and am an advocate for healthy play time. We could all use less screen time in our lives! Having worked in a bed and breakfast, I am an accomplished breakfast cook. I am also confident cooking a variety of dinner meals and preparing healthy snacks. Previous experience means I am also comfortable with the housekeeping components of nannying, though I prefer the child minding aspect over keeping house. I would love to offer my services as a fun-loving, intelligent, outdoorsy, active nanny who will happily oblige to the philosophies and structures of your home.
