Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

Hello - I'm a recently retired early childhood educator with oodles of experience. I have four children of my own, now grown, and I miss the early years experience. I have owned and operated a day home in Calgary, in the past, I've taught Montessori pre-school, and I've also nannied. Children seem to be my thing! I have experience with implementing Reggio Emilia philosophy in childcare, and I believe a child's development is best supported through highly nurturing, intellectually engaging, and developmentally appropriate care. Positive guidance discipline strategies, creative open-ended activities, relationship building, problem solving, outdoor play, inquiry based learning are how I roll, lol. Part-time hours work best with my schedule, two or three full days a week, maximum, would be ideal; however, several half-days would also be fine. My availability begins October 1, 2018, and my references are excellent. Cheers!
