Dear family, My name is Taize, I'm 28 years old and I'm from Brazil. I have a Bachelor degree in Psychology and I'm currently working as an English teacher for kids, teenagers and adults. I've had an amazing experience living in USA as an Au Pair for 2 years, being part of an incredible family and taking care of 4 children (ages 8 - 13y.o.). I love working with kids and learning from different cultures and that's why I'm looking for a position in another country. If you're interested on knowing more about my experience please message me and I'll be happy to answer you. Best regards, Taize PS: I'm currently living in Brazil and applying to enroll the Live in Caregiver Program.

Taize lived with our family as an au pair for 2 years from 2011-2013. She took care of our 4 children who were all in elementary or middle schools at the time. She was one of the best au pairs we ever had. Each child immediately developed their own special relationship with her, as did my husband and I. Taize is kind, has a great sense of humor, loves to laugh and give hugs. She always knows the right thing to say to cheer someone up (even the grown ups!). She is incredibly smart and reliable. She was never late for any appointment, always was on top of our 4 kids' busy schedules, which somehow she was able to keep in her head. She always made sure they had warm clothes and outerwear and food when they went out. She cooked great food - our kids still ask me to make some of her signature dishes (ask her about the "thing with no name"). She was always finding new and fun things for our kids. Through Taize, we discovered so many awesome things to do right in our own area (a hidden gem of a cove for skipping rocks, a hiking trail almost right in our backyard, the best view of the sunset in our town, an old fashioned ice-cream parlor, when to go to the local park gardens for the most glorious flower blooms). All these things let our kids experience the beauty of nature and life, without having to see it via some packaged, commercial venue. And this represents one of the things we loved best about Taize - she knows how to appreciates the simple, beautiful things in life. She has the best smile, gives great hugs and a warm, genuine heart. I can't say enough how much we love this woman. She came back to visit us last year for a couple of weeks, and it was as if she never left. She is so personable and easy-going that you will immediately like her. I would absolutely recommend Taize for any care provider position. Your kids will love her, you will gain a lifelong new friend, and she will certainly bring life and lightness into your home.
