Nanny in Hamilton, Ontario

For the longest time now I have always wanted to work with children, they are always nice and amazing and love you for who you are and not what you look like. They are always full of energy and usually always happy to see you. I do not see myself working in a retail store or fast food places, I rather be working in a place I enjoy to be at other then being somewhere I hate. I enjoy being happy, I do need a job horribly but like I said I want to be somewhere I can be myself and around people I like and do what I love to do. I have a lot of experience with children, I have been around them a lot in my life. I had my first babysitting job when I was about 11, he was about 8. I had to cook, clean and watch over him for a couple hours a day. My second job as a babysitter was a lot more intense, I had to watch 5 children at once from new born's to the age of 8, I had to cook, feed the babies, laundry, cleaning, play games and diaper changes. Finally my third job was watching a 1 1/2 year old boy, I fed him, diaper changed, took him for walks, tried to teach him new words and helped potty train him. As for other experiences I did a co-op in my last year of high school at a elementary school called Elgin Ave. Public School. I was assisting a old teacher of mine with running her grade 2/3 class, I had to make photo copies, take lunch orders, etc. I just mainly had to do whatever she asked, but another thing I did on my own is talk to the children when ever they were upset, I was there for them and always stopped bullying on the play ground. By the end of the year all the children loved me to death. Lastly I run an Anti-Bullying Organization called Increase The Peace and I have had to talk to some younger children about bullying and why they should not do it.
