Nanny Job in Barrie, Ontario

We are looking for part-time child-care for our daughter in our home in Midhurst, Ontario. We are interested in potential babysitters or a part-time nanny with flexible availability of 5 to 15 hours per week. Our daughter will celebrate her first birthday in mid-February. I will be returning to work part-time around this time. I have flexible hours and work out of our home. My husband works shift work so our schedule changes from one week to the next. We are interested in daytime or late afternoon/early evening care on weekdays or weekends. We would ideally like an individual who is willing to work a flexible schedule from one week to the next. We also travel a fair amount and, on average, tend to be out of town for 1 to 2 weeks every 2 months. I will be working in the home during most child-care periods. Child-care responsibilities will primarily include playing with our daughter, changing cloth diapers and feeding her snacks or meals. We live in Midhurst, approximately a 5 to 10-minute drive from the north end of Barrie. We are not easily accessible by transit so a car is required. Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. CPR and first aid is preferred. Flu vaccination is required. No housekeeping is expected.
