Hello! I am a 23 YO female, finishing my Honors BA in Kinesiology, with a minor in Classical Studies at U of T. I am pursuing a career in Sports Law, Sports Medicine, or Emergency Medicine. When I am not at school, you will find me finishing my Diploma in Culinary Arts at George Brown, improving my language skills (French and ASL), practicing the banjo, or upgrading my scuba diving license. I was raised with 2 older brothers and an older sister, who are now all over the continent. We had fish, birds, cats, and dogs growing up so animals around are more of a blessing than a curse! I spent KG to Grade 12 in the French Immersion program so am fluent. I am also in the process of learning ASL. I recently completed my Culinary Diploma at George Brown college, and love to play around with new recipes and skills in the kitchen. As much as I love to learn, I love to teach and pass on the knowledge even more. One of my greatest passions in life is volunteering for causes that I feel passionate for. I am currently a volunteer in the kitchen at St.John’s shelter, at Broadview and Danforth, where I cook breakfast once a week. I also volunteer weekly at Sick Kids hospital in the Family Centre. This past year I was a foster parent to a Male Black Lab named Safari, who I gave up last week to the Lions Foundation. He is now becoming an Austism dog for young children. I have experience looking after children ages 3-12, both boys and girls. I am happy to provide references of the families that I have worked with.
