Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a part-time Nanny in central Toronto (two blocks from Summerhill subway station) to start in MAY. DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED. Position requires someone who can care for our two daughters (8 10 yrs old) and household duties (eg groceries, cooking/dinner prep, kitchen clean up, laundry and tidying). Hours: Mon-Fri 2:30-6:30 pm with flexibility. If more hours are preferred, we always need help at home and require extra babysitting. Children, Routine and responsibilities include: - school pick up - monitor and help with homework / reading assignments - after school: help arrange play-dates or drop-off/pick-up at after-school activities - play games, draw etc. Household: - laundry and tidying up - plan and cook healthy meals, including groceries; kitchen clean up We are looking for a kind, honest person who is: -caring and warm, especially with children - a problem-solver with common sense (we want you to make decisions and run our house) - energetic with a good work ethic - completely fluent in english (oral and written) - positive, friendly and enthusiastic (we are positive and we want our girls to be around positive people) - happy to play interact with kids (eg, drawing and homework/reading) Pay: Negotiable If you fit most/all of these characteristics we would love to hear from you.
