Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for someone two to four afternoons/evenings a week to help our family - a lifestyle that is complicated by our jobs which require significant travel. A big chunk of that responsibility is after school care for our daughter, aged 9. Our son, 17, is pretty independent. A vehicle is a plus, a valid driver's license is a must. We live at Mount Pleasant and Eglinton. We will pay weekly or biweekly based on your preference. Hours are weekdays are 2pm-7pm but occasionally may need help past 7pm .We are flexible on days and (some) times but would look for 2-3 days a week for help. Daily logistics might include general errands in the afternoon, either in the house (eg meal preparation) or outside of the house (eg grocery shopping, dry cleaning drop off/pick up, etc), then picking up our daughter from school by 6:00pm. Some days pickup may need to be earlier ie 4:00pm due to piano, soccer or baseball practice after school. Some evenings we will need help past 7pm to help with bedtime for our daughter as well as getting her to and from her evening activities. Generally we make our dinners at home and eat at the dining room table every night. We keep food pretty simple so cordon bleu skills are not required (but fun though if you do!) for the occasions where you will need to cook dinner. We would love a tightly run ship - the craziness of our lives has us craving that sense of order and control. We would work together to keep our home tidy and organized. We have a cleaning lady who comes every week to make the place spotless but she doesn't do laundry. We try to keep up with it, but you may be asked to put through a couple of loads while you are here. Ironing would be an added bonus! We hope you will enjoy being a part of our family!
