Nanny in Nanaimo, British Columbia

Hello! I am relocating to Nanaimo from Ontario, and will be available for work full time by July 10th, 2017 until at least the first week of September (willing to discuss extension if need be). I am an active and engaging child care provider who loves to be around children of all ages (no recent experience with newborns). I am a certified teacher and will be working for the Nanaimo school board in the fall for grades 7-12. I enjoy providing thoughtful activities both inside and out, I am comfortable taking the children to museums, public pools. on hikes, or any excursions that may be deemed appropriate by the parents/guardians. I would be comfortable assisting the children with homework or general studies as well. I can help with dogs or other small family pets, but prefer to be in a cat-free home due to allergies; I have a large breed dog at home and am very comfortable working with pets and kids together.
