Hello there. I wish to offer my services to families and individuals who require it. I love kids and was very passionate about my position back at my old company, often advocating for children, staff, and programs that needed help thriving. I always developed quick and strong bonds with all of the children under my care. I'm a very patient, understanding, and compassionate individual. I'm 27 and have 3 years of experience working with small and large groups of children between the ages of 3 and 12 with and without special needs and behavioural challenges. I worked before/after school shifts and holiday camps at one of the best child care companies in the GTA and was one of their most involved staff. I graduated from Sheridan College and studied Social Work. I am part of the LGBTQ community, so I'm asking that families please be open minded and respectful. I am available pretty much at any time on all days of the week up until about November of this year, as long as the position doesn't require me to live in the household. I have experience with animals as well should you need it. I can help with cooking and meal prep (but that should be discussed beforehand as some of my cooking skills are limited), housekeeping and running errands. I have my first aid and CPR certification for all ages and a background check that's less than 6 months old. I unfortunately don't drive, but I'm able to commute without problems. If you need a reference it might take a while because my previous manager is an extremely busy individual with limited availability, as she is the manager of inclusion and special needs staff at my old company. But I can ask past fellow coworkers for a reference if needed upfront.
