Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hello! My name is Darcy, and I'm an educated, experienced nanny offering my services, for a long or short term nanny position and/or for occasional baby-sitting in Toronto. Throughout my over five years of experience, I’ve worked with children of all ages. I’m very comfortable with school-aged littles, and most commonly, have worked with infants and toddlers. I’ve even been caretaker to infant twin boys and a 4 year-old little girl, simultaneously. So I believe it’s fair to say, I can handle anything now. ☺️ I believe in education through musical and creative play, being kind, warm and open-hearted, and spending lots of time outdoors in nature. I think that childrens’ imaginations are one of their most important assets, and that we should encourage and develop imaginative play. After doing some research, I would align my approach to childcare with the “gentle parenting” style. I love all animals, so am happy to provide pet care. I love big dogs especially (I have a sweet lab/retriever at home, myself)! When it comes to cooking, I love to prepare meals and meal-prep. And without tooting my own horn, I’d say I’m a pretty good cook. I’m also happy to help out around the house, during nap time or quiet time for the kids, but your kids will always be my number one priority. I have CPR training, and am confident taking the little ones on outings to parks and beaches, play dates and classes or groups.
