Nanny Job in Ottawa, Ontario

Looking for a part time nanny for two children ages 1 and 3. Start date is ASAP! Hours needed are somewhat flexible, but will be 1-3 shifts per week during the daytime (between 10am and 4pm) on weekdays. Scheduling around another job or commitment could be possible. Duties include caring for the two little ones plus some light housekeeping (mainly just tidying up after the kids) and simple meal and snack prep. Kids are pretty easygoing, love reading books or puttering around in the back yard. We also have a small dog who might need the occasional bowl of food or to be let out. Location is our home in the Alta Vista area. Safe family neighbourhood with a park/playground/splash pad a 5 minute walk away. Close to public transportation. I will be working in the home office most of the time. Requirements: Experience with and understanding of toddlers and preschool age. ECE training an asset. Knowledge of kosher diet/kitchen an asset- must be at least willing to learn! Preference for respectful/rie/montessori approach to childcare.
