Nanny in Winnipeg, Manitoba

Hello, For over 6 years now I have worked with kids, as a babysitter, nanny and part-time teacher. I love the opportunity to get to know the kids I work with, spend time, do art and help them in learning and growing up! In the past I have worked as a home school teacher for a boy in grade four. The subjects we focused on were Math, English and Art. With another instructor, we together made the curriculum that we followed, taught new concepts and marked papers and tests. Aside from that position, I also taught at an after-school math program, working with a group of grade one kids. I loved both of these experiences as I got to know my students personalities and work alongside them in finding the way they learn best. In 2014 I had the summer position as a nanny for 3 kids, aged two, five and seven. We would frequently go on outings to parks, the zoo, act out a play, draw and go for walks around the neighbourhood. Either than nannying for this family, I have babysat and worked with children frequently for over six years. Currently I am self-employed, thus having a flexible schedule.
