Nanny in Winnipeg, Manitoba

Hi there! My name is Kasey and I'm looking for childcare jobs in the Winnipeg area. I have been babysitting since I was eleven years old, giving me over 15 years of experience. My caregiving philosophy is to keep the kids engaged; this can be by doing creative activities, playing or making up games, or exploring outside. The primary family that I sat for had 3 boys with ages ranging from 1-8. More recently, I have been babysitting in age ranges 2-5 and nannying for an infant (3 months) for about 6 months. I'm happy to provide references from any of my nanny/babysitting jobs. I have been a volunteer for many programs, including Big Brothers/ Big Sisters of America, Safety Town Camp, and Waikiki Aquarium. My mentor work at Big Brothers/ Big Sisters lasted six years, and it gave me great experience in tutoring grades 1-5 and thinking of creative activities to take part in with them. The Safety Town Camp was designed for children around the ages 5 and 6, and taught them about stranger danger, road safety, and other important lessons. At the Waikiki Aquarium I worked with children and the animals at the touch pool, teaching them about marine life. I also have experience as a tutor, working at an elementary school in Honolulu. I have no pets or children myself, but I'm very comfortable with any pet. I also have my own car and can transport myself and children if needed. I have been CPR and First Aid trained in the past and am happy to get those certifications renewed.
