Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hello! My name is Karly and I have been working as a nanny for most of my adult life. I have degrees in psychology and education, have worked part-time as a substitute teacher, and spent the last 4.5 years with a family here in Halifax before taking time off to have my daughter. I have worked for other families in Ontario and abroad (New Zealand) and am often called on to help out with casual childcare for acquaintances I have met through my previous nanny position. My current job is a short-term position taking care of a 8 month old, 22 month old, and my own 1 year old - 3 under 2! I am energetic and creative, responsible and dependable. While your child(ren)'s care will always be my number 1 priority, I try to help out around the house with little things so that when you are home, you can be focussed on time with your child(ren). This time, I am looking for someone who is open to having me bring my daughter with me to work. She will 1.5 in October and I am looking for a start date of September. Ideally, I would love to work for a family with a similarly aged child who would be comfortable with me taking the children to the library, museum, outdoors to playgrounds and on hikes.
