Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

My name is Dakota and I am 24 years old. I've currently completed the first two yeasr in the Developmental Service Worker Program at Algonquin College. This allows me to work with special needs children of all ages in homes, group homes and schools. I am now doing my bachelors degree online! I have babysat/ nannied many children in the past 3 years. I have almost 6 years of experience babysitting kids of all ages. I previously worked as an Educational Assistant at an elementary school working with kindergarten students and grade 3/4 student and also the grade 2 Autism Unit. I also have worked with many support worker agencies, assisting clients with daily living tasks. I believe in following a daily schedule so that it helps with both the nanny and the child to have an easier transition on what is expected to come next. I'm currently almost finished my contract with a 4 year old boy. I started with him when he was 14 months. With the 3 year old our schedule currently looks like: Breakfast, Get ready for the day, Outing, Come home have lunch, Nap, Snack, Bath, Parents then come home. With your permission I enjoy taking the children out for outings: park, library, playgroups, museums, etc.. I have a valid drivers license, CPR, FIRST AID, as well as a up to date criminal record check. Hope to hear from you soon! :)
