Nanny in Carman, Manitoba

(currently have a job as of Sept 7th 2021) Dear Families, My name is Tykerra LeRoux and I believe I could be a perfect fit for your Family! I am currently located in Saint Claude, just moved here from Alberta. I have plenty of work experience with children including nannying (both in Calgary and for a year in Australia), teaching a pre-ballet dance class, volunteer work in an elementary school and of course babysitting. My previous job I was working for a family in Calgary with twins girls! I started when they were 1 and they are now almost 5. Sadly, this means they will soon be in school full time and I am now looking for my next Family. I love this job! I love the kids! I love all the families that I have worked for! I take my job seriously as an investment in the future of your kids. I want to use my time with them to nurture, teach and have a positive impact on their lives and yours. The families I worked for in the past have really become like family to me and I'm hoping to find the same kind of bond with the next family I work for! Before working with the family that I am now, I was a nanny in South Calgary taking care of two 18 month old twin boys and their 6 year old big sister. My first position as a nanny was working abroad in Australia as a live in nanny where I took care of two kids, ages 2 and 4. I had an amazing experience and got to enjoy a beautiful family. This is when I discovered that I wanted to work with kids as my career. I started with babysitting work when I was 13 years old and ever since then I have loved working with children. My duties as a nanny have included making light meals (including school lunches), bottles, diapers, play time, reading time, craft time, bath time, bed time, clean up, as well as other everyday childcare duties. I love being able to take the kids out on fun trips like the zoo, science centre, indoor and outdoor play places, swimming, and anywhere the family felt comfortable with. I'm excited for the opportunity to do the same great work for your family. I can even help out around your house. Light cleaning, laundry, dishes, other chores, are things I can accomplish but of course the priority must be the care and wellbeing of your children.
