Hi, my name is Kate, I'm 20 years old and have over 8 years of experience caring for children from ages 0-13. I would absolutely love to find a full time position caring for a group of children of any size and of any age! Currently, I am taking time off from school but am passionate about early childhood education and look forward to returning to school in the late future to pursue a career as a teacher. Working with children is my dream, and I have held 5 different long term positions as a child caregiver since the age of 12. I have extensive experience looking after families of 4 and taking care of multiple infants along with older children is absolutely no problem. Over the past three years, I have been babysitting my 3 year old niece who I adore more than anything, I love spending time with toddlers. I am very skilled in cooking and tutoring, I love preparing healthy meals that younger children can enjoy and would delight in helping your child with any sort of assignment, whether it be a tough algebra problem or an essay for history class. I hold experience caring for children from many different kinds of families, and able to accomodate busy schedules or keep your child active with trips to the park or zoo if days or evenings are less rigid in schedule. I am very strong in connecting with children of any age, and want to be a friend, role model and caregiver to your child. I enjoy engaging in creative activies with children, and would be thrilled to paint, draw and write stories with your child. I am also available to tutor children in French, I spent 2 years in French immersion and graduated from the International Baccalaureate Program at Kelvin High School where I strongly focused on French for 4 years. I am beyond willing to help out with any housework, gardening and petcare, all of which I absolutely love to do in my own home. I do not smoke or drink, and maintain a very active lifestyle so I can stay energetic and healthy.
