My active nature provides a nurturing environment where children feel excited and secure in exploring the world. I camp and golf in the summer season and spend my winters exploring new mountains, snowboarding and hiking. I enjoy researching new ways to introduce children to the world through exploration and learning. Preparing crafts and outings ahead of time is one way that I ensure we get the best out of every day! I am highly experienced with preparing healthy snacks and meals for children. I work hard to engage the children and build a healthy relationship with food/trying new things. I am an avid reader and always set aside time to pick up a book. Instilling a love of reading in children is the key to successful futures. I have accompanied many of my charges to a variety of outings; including but not limited to, children's programs, lessons, birthday parties, school (pre, kinder, elementary). I have lots of compassion and patience which I use to help children deal with their emotions in positive ways. My rate is $20/hr for 1 child, $25/hr for 2 children, $30/hr for 3 children and so forth. If you are looking for occasional date nights I do a lowered rate as babysitting is much more relaxed than nannying. $18/hr/1child, $20/hr/2children, $25/3children and so forth. I have a seperate rate for household manager duties, maid services and pet care; inquire further if interested in additional duties. I have experience with twins and triplets under the age of 5 as well as nanny shares with multiple children. The most children I have had under my care at one time is 4; their ages were 1, 2, 3 and 4. I understand that every parents wishes they could be with their child(ren) through every milestone. I assure you that any child under my care is healthy, happy and thriving; often times with a new craft and story for when you get home!
