Nanny Job in Nelson, British Columbia

We’re looking for reliable, loving nanny and household helper, who can care for our toddler, prepare meals and perform housekeeping duties full-time. Our Daughter: Our daughter Poppy is cheerful, energetic and a delight to be around! She's very independent, and eats and sleeps well. What does that mean for you? It means that you get a couple of free hours to yourself every day as she still naps well twice per day. It also means that you have a fun job! Poppy loves to go on outings, loves to see other babies and animals, and is easy going and flexible. Our Household: Mom is a marketing executive for an American company. She's away traveling for a week every 6 weeks or so. Dad is a biologist in Trail. We have a Brittany Spaniel puppy, and are active outdoors! We love to eat healthy food. Our house is a large, A-frame house in the Gyro area of Nelson. It's walkable (about 15-20 minutes to Baker St). The house has 3 main floor bathrooms, and a suite which has another bathroom. It has 4 main floor bedrooms, a den, a living room, and a large kitchen. We will require some cleaning duties and meal prep duties as well; we have all the equipment needed to make your job easier/more enjoyable! You will have access during the day to our family vehicle for errands and to transport child/yourself to/from activities. Driver's license preferred. Duties: - Childcare (take our daughter to play groups, the park, prepare meals for her, put her down for naps, etc) - Meal prep - Laundry - Household cleaning/duties - Pet care (we have a puppy) - Errands (child appointments, grocery shopping, dry cleaners etc - with child, during the day). For this you'd use our family vehicle - Family calendar management, things like booking flights and doing research for family household purchases - Pet care: we have a 4 month old puppy who would love to join you on walks and outings.
