Hello, My name is Laura Travers, I am 22 years old and am currently working at a daycare in Camrose, AB. I have been working there for about 2 years where I've gained valuable skills with every age group from new borns to twelve year olds. I've chosen to work with children because my priority is to build strong and beautiful relationships with them. It has been challenging to give the kind of attention that is needed to build a strong connection in the busy world of daycare and I would love to be able to really pour into a few children verses sixteen kids at once. I love to have fun with the kids and use our imaginations together as well as being active outside. I already go walking an hour a day and I just love finding new trails and listening to good music. I've also cabin lead at a summer camp where they have the mentality "Nothing is impossible" and would create the most fun and outrageous games/experiences and I love creating that for kids. Also nothing beats a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows and a good book, I'm a reader and I love sharing that with the kids. Basically that's me! -Laura
