Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

Hi, my name is Biserka, I live in downtown Calgary. I have moved to Canada 2 and half years ago from Europe. I am more than 3 years experienced self-employed elderly caregiver / housekeeper. I have also 3 years experience as a child caregiver in Europe and almost 1. 5 year here in Canada. As a child caregiver I was preparing meals, feeding, cleaning up after meals. As well I was assisting children with bathing, dressing and personal hygiene, helping children with the daily activities in daily living, hanging out, walking, reading and playing, providing with transfers and other related assignments. Dropping and picking up children from day care or school, supervise and keep a safe environment. Working as a child caregiver I had also duties such as loading and unloading the dishwasher, cleaning counter after preparing a meal, kids laundry. I have an eye for details and I am a hard worker. I am motivated, task-oriented, and efficient, and my knowledge is comprehensive and current. I have worked with people in every job so my communication skills are on a very high level. I am also outgoing and have a positive attitude. I am fully motivated to change my life for the right job and I believe this is the perfect position for me since my skills are well aligned with the role. I like working with children and helping them. I understand children, they need attention, understanding, love, tenderness, having and giving them a time and spending time with them. Sometimes I act like a kid and kids like that, I think it is really important to get to their level sometimes and kids love that. I can build "a house" from blankets, dance all over the house, I can fool around like kids sometimes do. I like to play hide and seek and other games, I like to teach kids songs and to do painting and crafts. I like to take kids to the Riley park, different outdoor and indoor playgrounds, to the ZOO, Heritage park, Animal farm, Sikome lake. I am responsible, reliable, trustworthy and caring person, I like children and I think I would be a perfect person for this job. I have CPR/First aid certification, references and criminal record check. I have my own car and valid driver's license. I was working as a child caregiver part time from April 2017 to January 2018. I was taking care of girls age 4 and 6. From January 2018 till end of July 2018 I was working as a child caregiver and I was taking care of a boy age 3. 5 and girl age 2.
