Hi! I am a cheerful and energetic, mature mom of two grown children with more than 20 years childcare experience. After completing the Early Childhood Educator program in 1992, I went on to work at a licensed daycare centre for a year before opening my home daycare. I absolutely loved dedicating my days to teaching and learning from the children entrusted to me, many of of whom stayed in my care for more than 10 years. In 2005, I switched gears and began a second career in healthcare. While I do enjoy my job, I found myself missing the daily interaction with children, so for the past 7 years I have enjoyed taking on part-time nanny jobs to assist families with unique needs. I have cared for children before or after school, evenings, weekends, as well as short term care solutions to cover for regular caregivers or weeks when camps etc weren't available.
