Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hi families! I'm Josefina Ignacio, a Filipino - Canadian nanny who is looking for a FULL TIME LIVE OUT NANNY job in the area of Toronto. I have been in this job for more than 21 years. I worked in Taipei, Taiwan from 1999 to 2005. From there, I moved to Quebec City in 2005. I worked in Quebec for 4 years , I moved and settled in Toronto when my family arrived in 2009. From my previous employment up to the most recent, my jobs are all looking after children. I looked after kids from infants to toddlers to grown ups. In my recent job, I looked after 2 kids ages 11 year old boy and 8 year old girl. I started to work with this family when the youngest child was 11 months old. My duties include prepare meals for the kids, light housekeeping such as tidy up, dusting and laundry. I introduced to the toddler how to use potty when she was 2 1/2. We used to go to the playground, parks, library and also having playdates with different kids. In summer time, I send them to their camps of different activities and programs. During our available time, we play together with different card games especially when the weather doesn’t permit us to play outdoor. During school days, I drop them off in the morning and pick them up after school. I assist them on their home works and practice them with their spelling words. When the kids are sick, I give them medicines and inform the school's safety arrival of their absence. I really love and enjoy working with the kids, I treat them as my own. It really breaks my heart when my employment ended up. It's time to say goodbye to the family especially to the kids whom I already loved. But still thankful because my communication with them never ends. I can still greet them on special occasions like birthdays and holidays.
