Nanny in Ayr, Ontario

Hello! My name is Clare Hawthorne. I am a 23 year old UBC Undergrad, who has just finished her degree in English Literature! I have been working in child care from the age of sixteen, and have experience working with children aged 3 months to twelve years. For the past four years I have been employed as a nanny with a family living on UBC campus, looking after two children aged eight and nine. I have seen these children grow up to be wonderful human beings, and over these past three years have fallen in love with childcare. I am sadly finishing my nannying position with these children as I need full time hours, and am looking for another loving family to join immediately! I am comfortable working with children of all ages and all learning abilities. I am comfortable working with children on homework, social skill building, art, writing, grammar, ect. I love working on reading and writing skills, as reading is one of my favourite things. I also love being outdoors and visiting parks, libraries (Vancouver Public Library is one of my favourite places and they have a fabulous kids section), and coming up with fun day time adventures that include interacting with nature and exploring Vancouver. For the past three years my nannying duties have included: driving children to and from activities, picking children up from school, meal preparation, light housecleaning, homework completion, date night babysitting, bringing children to their various camping excursions (driving the family car to North Van and Squamish). I have a full Driver's Licence and six years driving experience with a clean record. I have recently moved back home to Ayr, Ontario.
