Hi, I'm Mackenzie! I'm an enthusiastic nanny with ten years of extensive & professional child care experience. I have First Aid training in multiple countries, and dozens of nannying, au pair, and mother's helper experiences under my belt, including experiences with non verbal autism and type one diabetes. I'm social, energetic, creative, articulate, and caring; I'm an extrovert with hair of varying rainbow hues and an extensive knowledge of Frozen & Moana (I have been known to be able to hold my own in a kid-hosted singalong). I was also educated in French Immersion and still speak fluent French. I love investing in people, working creatively, and spending time with kids. I love to watch kids grow up and learn what makes them excited, to take part in the schemes of their active imaginations, and to just live life with them. I'm eager to try new things, and eager to hang out with your infants, children, dogs, cats and whatever else may make up your family! I worked abroad as a nanny for a year before returning to Ontario for my schooling. I've worked with a massive variety of ages, from sweet babies to near grown-up twelve year olds, with combinations of boys, girls, three kids, four kids, twins, siblings and individual kiddos. Every age, in my experience, has it's own unique set of fun stages and adventures. I've also spent years working and serving in the kids programs within the vulnerable sector, and have completed multiple police/vulnerable sector checks in order to do so.
