I am a fun loving, interactive, and passionate caregiver with a diploma in Social Service Work. I am searching for a position where I can utilize my knowledge and skills of developing children and behavioural control to help take care of your little ones! I have roughly eleven years of experience babysitting and 6 years nannying, caring for ages newborn to preadolescent. I’ve supported families and children with developmental disabilities including autism, ADD, and ADHD, and those with neurological disorders such as epilepsy. I’ve also worked as a private and daycare childcare provider, volunteer assistant midwife, along with being a full time nanny for a few families in the past 7 years. Providing safe and fun-filled care is something I am very adamant about, I believe in participating with the children in physical and social activities in order to stimulate them throughout the day. I love arts and crafts, reading, and playing music. I have experience working and teaching in a Montessori environment which makes helping kids with developmental tasks and skills easier and more engaging. I also speak fluent Spanish and am currently educating myself in French.
