Nanny in Waterloo, Ontario

My name is Jessica Kerr and I am a 22-year-old educator looking for a nannying position. I have just graduated from Laurentian University's Concurrent Education program with Magna Cum Laude distinction. I received my first degree in 2022 in Psychology and a minor in Indigenous Studies. I have plenty of experience working with children including running a daycare as an ECE in the summer of 2020. I was a nanny for the summer of 2021 where my main duty was caring for a 1-year-old girl, along with light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, errands, etc. I have also been a nanny for two families in the summer of 2019. I cared for a 9-year-old girl for one family and a 7-year-old and 10-year-old for the other family along with other sporadic babysitting jobs including 1-year-old twins and a 3-year-old simultaneously. During my undergrad, I completed 150 hours of placement work where I tutored a grade 3 math club, a grade 8 student with an LD, and a TA in a grade 4 classroom. During my last year of my program, I completed 83 days of full-time, in classroom experienced where I was teaching up to 100% by the final practicum. I have a passion for working with children and educating the future!
