Nanny Job in Halifax, Nova Scotia

We are looking for an exceptional part-time nanny/babysitter who is reliable, flexible, enthusiastic, fun, creative, active and patient, to care for our 2 children aged 3 and 9 years. This would be a long-term position for at least 2 years with about 6-12 shifts per month of 4-10 hours in duration with several where you would need to stay overnight in our home as I am a shift worker. Having a driver's license and/or a vehicle to take to extracurricular activities is ideal, but not essential. Job duties: Preparation of food for meals and snacks (depending on time of day). Staying overnight (sleeping over), waking in the morning and ensuring they are dressed and ready for school/preschool. During the evening, you will assist with school work, bathing and reading. Spending time indoors and outdoors for play, transporting and supervising extracurricular activities (depending on driver's license/vehicle). Tidying up the home. Pick up or drop off to/from preschool/school as needed (also easily accessible by walking and public transit). Hours: vary, 4-10 hours, only weekday evenings, 2 weekends per month and 4 overnights/sleepovers, occasional holidays Start date: April 3, 2021 (future/additional dates/times will be provided at least 1 month in advance) Pay: negotiable depending on experience First aid/CPR required.
