Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

Hello! I am currently an au pair in the United States, looking to take a step forward into the future and live in Canada once I am done with my program in the US. I will have done the program for two years by the time it is over. Before coming here, I lived in Brazil (I am Brazilian) and worked as an English teacher for 6 years. Worked with teenagers and kids for all of them. As an au pair, I babysat for two families. The fist family lived in the suburbs of NY and I took care of their two kids: a 5-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl. The parents had demanding jobs, therefore I spent long hours with the kids and I would take care of them in whatever they needed. I would wake them up, feed them breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, take them to school and other activities, arrange playdates, give them baths, did their laundry, etc. I lived with them for a year and it was a great experience. For my second year in the US, I was looking to have experience with older kids. Therefore, I moved to Maryland to live with my second host family. I took care of 3 kids: a 9 year-old girl, a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl. I worked a little bit less because the kids were bigger and very independent, but I would drive them everywhere and help them with homework, organization of their belongings, laundry, etc. I intend to stay here until my au pair program is over and hopefully, move to my Canadian host family's house.
