I am a young, female Elementary School teacher. I have a Psychology background, and Bachelor of Education degree. I am qualified in teaching students Kindergarten to Grade 8, and have also taken courses to be certified in Special Education and English as a Second Language. I taught kindergarten in Thailand for two years, Grade 3/4 in Australia, and now am currently teaching a variety of grades in Ottawa. In addition to teaching, I tutor students in various grades and subjects! I have also spent many summers as a camp-counselor, and program co-coordinator at sports camps, drama and art camps, and enrichment programs. I have babysat kids from the age of newborns, to pre-teenagers. I enjoy engaging kids in various sports and outdoor activities, leading crafts and simple baking tasks, as well as going on small adventures in the neighbourhood and city area. I think it is important that the kids are engaged and excited, but also given the opportunity to explore new activities, while being creative and social.
