My name is Haileigh and I am an undergraduate student at the University of Calgary. I have past experience with young children in my siblings as well as babysitting for others since I was 12 years old. I believe that child care is much more than simply guarding children from harm, but takes a much more important role in teaching integral life skills and working to empower a child to take on new challenges as they grow up. Education and activity go in hand-in-hand for me, and I love to find new, exciting and engaging ways to teach skills. I am dedicated to fitness and a healthy lifestyle and this translates into how I care for children. I love to be active with kids and to inspire them to find which physical activities they enjoy the most. I am currently working during the day until 4 pm, but I am available any evenings or weekends, and this availability extends into the academic year when I return to my studies.
