Hi Dear Host Family, My name is Priscila and I live in New Jersey, United States as au pair; and I’m already very excited about getting to know you, but firstly I want to introduce myself to you and I hope that it makes your decision easier. I would like to tell you something about my childcare experience: I had my first childcare experience with my cousin Andres. I had to look after my little cousin while his parents were at their job. My tasks were to prepare the bottles for him, to take the little boy to bed. My job was not very strenuous because he was a nice and quiet boy and I was proud that my uncles trusted me. Later on, I took care of Soledad, She was only 3 years old when I started to take care of her. When she started going to preschool, I used to take her and pick her from the kindergarten and the school. Also I helped her with her homework; she was like my little sister and we became very close, I took care of her for 3 wonderful years. I continue to be in touch with her up to now. My best and most learning experience in childcare experience was in a kindergarten when I worked as a volunteer. I worked there first with a group of infants; I had to prepare their bottles, fed them, help them to develop skills that babies of their age begin to learn, like turns from side to side exploring around. I also entertained them with toys and helped them to sleep. Then I worked with another group of children from 4 to 6 years old. In this group of children, I organized activities for them and took part in recreational indoor and outdoor games: we sang, danced, played games, role-played, drew, painted, and narrated stories. In the kindergarten, I learned a lot of about the Early Stimulation in Children and I would like to put it into practice with my future Host Kids! In addition, I have helped my father to look after my little brothers since birth. In each vacation, I used to take care of them, I was much more involved in caring for them on daily activities. Currently I am au pair in United States, I take care of 12 months baby, I have taken care of her since she was only 5 months❤️ she is a beautiful baby, I love my host family, we have an excellent connection!!! Now my baby is learning to walk and say some words, I am teaching her Spanish, I speak her in Spanish and English, I think that is the best age the kids learn new languages, they are like a sponge!!! In adicction, I love to do a lot of things outdoors, like hiking, camping or mountain bike!! I enjoy all activities in family! And I love the animals!!!!
