I am a 22 year recent graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. A background in childcare and a strong foundation in empathy and interpersonal skills provided by my degree as well as the way in which I was raised, make me well equipped to handle the quickly changing demands of caring for children. I believe in an approach based in kindness, warmth, and love mixed with the confidence to implement firmness when necessary. From my experience, children respond best to a mutually respectful relationship in which they feel taken care of, but also genuinely valued as an individual. I am willing to provide basic housekeeping services as well as any petcare. I live in the UBC area and am open to a flexible schedule!
