Nanny Job in Brooklin, Ontario

Hi there! My husband and I are looking for an excellent nanny for our 2 wonderful daughters! Our oldest just turned 3 in October and our youngest will be 1 at the beginning of April. Our oldest currently goes to an in-home daycare that we love but with some changes in mine and my husband’s professional life, we think a nanny might be a better fit now with two. My husband and I both work from home 2-3 days a week, so we need someone who connects as well with us as they do with our daughters. The other 2-3 days per week we go to an office in Toronto so we leave early and return later. We also travel a fair amount so we need someone who has flexibility to stay late, come early, help out with bedtime when needed, etc. We don’t require any weekend help as we’re around then or we go away for the weekend. Our hope for our nanny is someone who becomes like part of our family and is with us for a long time. From April-September both girls will be at home but in September our oldest will start school so will just need after school care for her. My husband and I are easy to get along with, fun, laid back, professionals in our mid 30s. We live in Brooklin (North Whitby) so our ideal nanny would be in the Durham area preferably with a car. We are also open a to live out or live in nanny. It is important to us to have a nanny who helps our daughters grow and develop, stays active with them (they love going to the park and out for walks with our dog), takes them to play groups, etc. We’d also be looking for someone who can make meals for the girls and possibly prep for us as well as housekeeping chores, laundry, etc. If you're interested in learning more about this position and our family, please feel free to reach out.
