Nanny in Richmond Hill, Ontario

My name is Maria Christina and I am graduating this June from McMaster University with an honours sociology degree. After obtaining my degree, I have the hopes of furthering my education and becoming a child psychologist. I would love the opportunity to become a summer nanny for young children five days a week. I have a passion for working with children and helping them engage in activities, learn new skills, and keep them energized and laughing. I was a gymnastics coach for four years (2009-20...) where I coached children between the ages of 8months-15 years old. It was such a rewarding and active atmosphere as I was able to engage with the children and teach them new gymnastics skills. After having an office job for the last two summers, I have decided to switch gears this summer and work with children again, as I found it such a gratifying experience. I was also a summer nanny this past summer 2016 and have kept a close relationship with the children and family. The kids were 8 and 5 years old and I was with them from 9am-7pm Monday-Friday. We would do activities such as go for ice cream, go on bike rides, play outside, fish and bake. I would also clean the house, make the beds, do laundry and prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. I loved being a nanny and would love the opportunity again this summer. I also have a reference letter from my previous employerS that I would be happy to provide to you.
